Franklin County

Camera program records for Franklin County. Each fact keeps its source and checked date.

Written rules describe policy, not proof of actual practice. Public program records and mapped source locations have different scopes.

The reviewed public records do not establish the camera type. A supplier name alone does not identify plate readers, video cameras or their capabilities. Historical authorized quantities are not current installed totals.

What the public record establishes

The county's Emergency Services Committee report for September 17, 2026, posted October 1, describes ten Flock cameras at county entrances and exits. It says the arrangement is separate from the city's contract. This county government record is kept separate from Frankfort Police Department records. It does not establish camera type, exact locations, a sheriff-only inventory, current operation, signed contract terms or payment.
