Put a live camera map in your story.

Reporting on license plate readers in your area? Embed a live, sourced map of the documented cameras for any state. It updates itself as new cameras are mapped, and every camera links to its source.

Embed code

Copy this into your story. Change state=KY to any state code, or use us=1 for the national map, or bbox=west, south, east, north for a custom area. Every map page also has an Embed button that copies the code for that state.

<iframe src="https://howyouaretracked.com/embed/?state=KY" width="100%" height="520" style="border:0;border-radius:12px" loading="lazy" title="License plate camera map by How You Are Tracked"></iframe>

Live example: Kentucky

Citing the data

Please credit "How You Are Tracked (howyouaretracked.com), camera locations from OpenStreetMap contributors". Counts are mapped cameras documented so far, not a complete inventory; please describe them that way.
