Limit ad tracking on iPhone and Android

Review app tracking permission on iPhone and the advertising identifier on Android. These controls have a specific scope.

iPhone: review app tracking permission

Open Settings, then Privacy & Security, then Tracking. Review the apps listed and turn off permission for those you do not want to allow. Apple: app tracking controls

Android with Google Play services: advertising ID

Open Settings and search for Ads or advertising ID. Google documents the route Privacy, then Ads; manufacturers may organize menus differently. Google: advertising ID
Choose Delete advertising ID and confirm when available. Google says requests for the removed identifier then receive zeros instead. Do not choose a reset when your intention is deletion. Google: advertising ID

Understand the limit
